About Us

We began our endeavor to build a strong community bank eight  years ago with a ground-breaking capital raise in record time. We knew then we had a good thing in the works, that investors believed in our team and our strategy, and that our only path was success. Since our first branch opened in Potomac, MD, in 2003, we’ve added three more locations in the Greater Washington area, and expanded our headquarters in Bethesda.

Not long after our founding, we put pen to paper to declare our mission statement and core values. They are guiding principles that we live by each day here at the bank.
