Case Study 1

Challenge: A not-for-profit was looking for a line of credit, but no one, including their current bank, would extend one.

Solution: Recognizing that their cash flow was cyclical (based upon two annual donation drives) we looked into their sizeable real estate holdings. We extended a line of credit at an attractive rate and offered an innovative solution to help them - refinancing a number of their properties. We improved their cash flow and freed up equity in some of their properties as a reserve for future credit needs.

Case Study 2

Challenge: The customer was in an assisted living facility and her funds to pay her ongoing expenses were rapidly dwindling. She had a home for sale, but no current buyer. Her sons had been to several banks to request financing so she could continue her ongoing care, to no avail.

Solution: Congressional Bank gave her a short-term financing option on her valuable home, allowing her to stay where she wished until her home sold 8 months later.
