Online Banking Online banking is a free service that allows Bank customers to view statements, monitor account activity, request stop payments, and initiate transfers between customer accounts held at Congressional Bank. Commercial customers also have secure access within online banking to wire transfer, ACH, remote deposit capture, and positive pay. Services are available 24 hours a day from the convenience of any computer or mobile device.
Online Bill Pay Online bill pay is a free service that allows customers to pay bills at any time from the convenience of any computer or mobile device. Customers can schedule payments in advance and set up reoccurring payments. Online bill pay eliminates the costs associated with the purchase, writing, and mailing of paper checks.
Mobile Banking with Mobile Capture Mobile Banking is a free service available for Apple iPhone and Android users through the Apple App and Google Play store. Customers use the app to check balances, make transfers, pay bills, and deposit checks from your phone. Standard data rates apply.
Remote Deposit Capture (CCX) Commercial Capture Xpress (CCX) allows for unlimited check deposits to be made from the customer's office through use of a scanner. The web-based software application automatically transmits an electronic file, and the deposits are then credited to the customer's account. The application is loaded onto the customer's computer. Checks scanned by a designated employee by the cut off time of 5 pm will be posted for next day availability. Multi-item feeder scanners available for businesses with a high volume of incoming checks.
Remote Deposit Capture (FXD) Flatbed Xpress Deposit (FXD) is a free service that allows for unlimited check deposits to be made from the customer's home or office through use of an existing scanner. The web-based software application automatically transmits an electronic file and the deposits are then credited to the customer's account. No additional equipment is needed. FXD is ideal for customers with a low volume of incoming checks.
Merchant Services Provided by Direct Connect, we offer payment solutions for all types of businesses. Payment solutions include credit card processing, online payments, wireless payments, check acceptance, loyalty/gift cards, and more. Rates are competitive and equipment is start-of-the-art.
ACH Origination Automated Clearing House (ACH) Origination is a service for commercial customers to use the ACH electronic payment delivery system to originate and receive payments. ACH payments include direct deposit, payroll, and vendor payments. Instead of using paper, such as checks, ACH network transactions are transmitted electronically, allowing for faster processing times and cost savings, and typically post to the customer's account within two days.
Wire Transfer Wire Transfer service gives customers the ability to initiate one-time or reoccurring wires through the Bank's online banking system. It is a fast, convenient, and safe way to transfer money from a Congressional Bank account to another financial institution within the U.S. or internationally. For same day processing, all wires must be submitted by 3pm EST. Wires provide recipients immediate access to funds.
Wire Notification Wire Notification is a free service that sends email notifications of incoming and outgoing wires to the customer.
Lockbox Lockbox allows commercial Bank customers to receive payments such as accounts receivable, rent, dues, donations, etc. in a post office box set up by the Bank. The commercial customers have access to all reporting and records of incoming payments, but they avoid the hassle of opening all the payments and making the deposit themselves.
Night Deposit Night Deposit gives customers the ability to securely drop off deposits any time, day or night. Commercial Bank customers use specially designed depository bags to deposit checks and cash at any Congressional Bank branch location.
Positive Pay Positive Pay is a service that allows a business customer to submit a file containing information about the checks they have issued. As checks pass through the Bank's processing department, each check is reviewed and matched against the business customer's file before the check is paid. Checks that do not match the Positive Pay records may be reviewed by the customer prior to payment. This process alerts business owners and/or managers when check alterations or fraud are suspected and facilitates account reconciliation and accounting.
