Business Online Banking Upgrade

Upgrade Weekend: Friday, August 9, 2019, starting at 6:00 pm ET – Monday, August 12, 2019, 8:30 am ET. Online Banking systems will be unavailable during conversion weekend.  There will also be actions to take prior to the upgrade. We apologize for any inconvenience that may cause and hope this advance notice is helpful.

Please note both our Online Business Banking customers and Cash Management customers (formerly from American Bank) will log in to ONE new system through Business eBanking. Some pre-conversion instructions may be different for Cash Management.

Please note only Companies and Company Administrators will be converted to the new system. Existing system users will not be automatically converted. Company Administrators will be responsible for re-establishing users and their system permissions during the Preview Period.

System Upgrade Information:

Monday, July 29 – Thursday, August 8, 2019, a Preview & User Set-Up period of our new and improved Business eBanking Solution will be available for customers. The Business eBanking Preview & User Set-Up Period is the time prior to the live conversion date where Company Administrators have the ability to access the system and familiarize themselves with the navigation and system features, set up personal settings, test login credentials, set up user(s) and create entitlements, and verify ACH and Wires templates. Applies to Current Online Banking & Cash Management Customers:

Your User ID will be the same minus any special characters (example Steve#123 would be Steve123).

As of 6:00pm ET on Friday, August 9, 2019 until 8:30am ET on Monday, August 12, 2019, Online Business Banking & Cash Management will be unavailable while we update to the new system.

NOTE: During that time, all previously scheduled or recurring transfers and payments will process as usual and without interruption.

After the upgrade is complete on August 12, 2019, you can log in to Business eBanking.

The Login Process Starting August 12, 2019, 8:30am ET:

1. Visit https://congressionalbank.ebanking-services.com or sign in on our homepage from the login.
2. Click “Login” under business.
3. Enter the new Business eBanking company ID provided to you prior to the conversion.
4. Use the same User ID (minus special characters; example Steve#123 would be Steve123).
5. For your starter password use “Beb1” + the first 4 characters of your current User ID (Example: If your user ID is: “John555” your temporary password will be: Beb1JOHN). You will be prompted to change your password at first login.
6. The new system will require an extra layer of authentication upon your first login to the new online banking system. This authentication will occur in the form of an automated phone call or text message with a security code. Please contact us at 240-380-1235 to ensure we have a direct or mobile phone number on file that is associated with your account.
7. Read and accept the disclosure.
8. Review/edit your email address.

After you have logged into the new system on August 12, 2019:

  • Set up other users and their access and permissions (if not completed during the preview period).
  • Re-establish scheduled and recurring transfers.
  • Re-establish scheduled and recurring ACH and Wire transactions.
  • Re-enroll in eStatements.

All of the login steps above apply. Company IDs will not be converted. New Company IDs will be sent prior to conversion. The new system will not require a Company Password.

Existing tokens will not convert to the new system. Customers will be issued new “soft” security tokens prior to Monday, July 29, 2019 to replace their existing current physical hard tokens. See Detailed Token Set-Up instructions. You may begin to set these up during the Preview Period, July 29 – August 8. Customers may request physical hard tokens instead of “soft” tokens. A fee may apply.

The RSA SecurID Software Token app is available to company users for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Once downloaded, the RSA SecurID Software Token app requires activation by company users.

Mobile Device Requirements:

The RSA SecurID Software Token app is supported on the following mobile platforms (operating systems):

  • iOS (Apple) version 4.1 and newer
  • Android OS version 2.2 and newer

An internet connection is required to download the RSA SecurID Software Token app and a camera is required for the activation process. Once downloaded, ensure that the app is enabled to access the camera under the Settings options for your device.

Current Cash Management Customers:

Exisitng tokens work in the new System. If you are having trouble with your token, please call 240-380-1235 and use Option 3.

Applies to Current Online Banking & Cash Management Customers:

  • 90 days of Account History will be available after Monday, August 12, 2019. It is still recommended that you print out your account history prior to August 12, 2019.
  • CD and Loan Reporting will not appear in the new system until Tuesday, August 13, 2019.

Applies to Current Online Banking & Cash Management Customers:

  • Scheduled and Recurring Internal Transfers – If you currently have recurring internal online transfers set up, they will not be automatically converted. We recommend you print out account transfer information prior to Friday, August 9, 2019.
  • Pending Transfers scheduled prior to August 9, 2019 will be processed on that date.
  • Any scheduled/recurring transfers after August 9, 2019 will need to be re-established in the new system on Monday, August 12, 2019.

Applies to Current Online Banking & Cash Management Customers:

  • Your Online Banking list of Bill Pay payees and eBills will automatically convert to the new system.
  • Bill Pay history will automatically convert to the new system.
  • Your scheduled online bill payments will convert automatically and will pay as planned including over conversion weekend.

Please note that Bill Pay access will not be available during the transition weekend, evening of August 9 – 11, 2019.

A Helpful Hint: Print the screen of payees and scheduled payments to verify once the new system is available on August 12, 2019.

Applies to Current Online Banking & Cash Management Customers:

If you currently have access to eStatements, you will need to re-enroll on or after Monday, August 12, 2019 by clicking on the View eStatements link under the Report tab. A new browser tab will open and the authorization information is displayed. If you click the Accept button, your eStatement history will be available. However, as a precaution, we suggest downloading eStatements prior to Friday, August 9, 2019.

Starting on August 12, 2019, the scanning system will be accessed within the new Business eBanking system under the Account Services Tab and then click Remote Deposit Capture. Existing check scanners will work within the new system, however the software is changing. Please see the WebScan Instructions for installing the new scanner software prior to conversion, during the Preview Period, July 29 – August 8, 2019.

Company Administrators will need to set up all Users in CCX Remote Deposit Capture Application as well as creating them as Users in Business eBanking. You must build them in both places. You can create the users in Business eBanking during PREVIEW PERIOD OR ON MONDAY, 8/12/19, and then enable them to CCX RDC service on Monday, 8/12/19.

To enable the users in Business eBanking go to Administration and click Manage Users. Then, click on the User ID. Click Edit Services and Accounts and click the appropriate link to add the services and fill in the blank box with the Commercial Capture Xpress User ID, which is the COMPANY ID-USER ID (Example: 2129999-Steve123). Save changes.

You will not have access to create them as users in CCX RDC until MONDAY, 8/12/19. That application is not available during PREVIEW PERIOD. IMPORTANT-When creating the users in CCX RDC, you must complete the SSO USER ID field with the user’s Company ID-Business eBanking User ID (Example: 2129999-Steve123). If this step is not performed, the users will not be able to access CCX RDC within Business eBanking from the Account Services menu.

Current Online Banking Customers:

Starting on August 12, Company Administrators need to enable the appropriate Users to CCX Remote Deposit Capture Service. In Administration, click Manage Users. Then, click on the User ID. Edit Services and Accounts. Click the appropriate link to add the service and fill in the blank box with the Commercial Capture Xpress User ID, which is the COMPANY ID-USER ID (Example: 2129999-Steve123). Save changes. After that, the Company Administrator must EDIT all of their users in the CCX Remote Deposit Capture system to update the field named SSO User ID. The SSO User ID needs to be the Company ID-User ID (Example: 2129999-Steve123). After these steps have been completed, users will log in to Business eBanking and go to the Account Service Tab and click Remote Deposit Capture to make deposits.

Applies to Current Online Banking & Cash Management Customers:

  • Pending scheduled ACH and Wire transactions scheduled through Friday, August 9, 2019 will be processed on that date.
  • ACH and Wire transactions scheduled to occur after August 9, 2019 on the old system will NOT be processed on the new eBanking system.
  • We recommend you print out ACH/Wire transfer information prior to August 9, 2019.
  • Scheduled and Recurring ACH and Wire transactions on the old system will need to be re-established in the new eBanking system on or after Monday, August 12, 2019.
  • Business eBanking ACH cutoff time is 7:30pm ET and Business eBanking Wire cutoff time is 5:30pm ET.

Applies to Current Online Banking & Cash Management Customers:

  • Outstanding issues files will be converted to Business eBanking over conversion weekend.
  • Cutoff time for reviewing and decisioning exceptions will be 11:00am ET.
  • Bank’s default value for check positive pay exceptions is Pay All. This setting can be changed at the customer’s request.
  • New Positive Pay services will be available such as Payee Positive Pay, ACH Positive Pay, and Reverse Positive Pay. Fees may apply. Service Agreements are required. Contact your account officer or customer service for more information.

Applies to Current Online Banking & Cash Management Customers:

  • Account alerts will not automatically convert and will need to be re-established on or after Monday, August 12, 2019. Many new alerts will be available and alerts can be set up for email or SMS Text Message. Standard messaging rates apply.

Account nicknames will not automatically convert and will need to be re-established on or after Monday, August 12, 2019.

A helpful feature in Business eBanking will be the hyperlink How Do I… that can be found in the lower left corner of each page. It will walk through the transaction you are trying to complete.

You have options for Reporting. For the conversion, clients who have a single user are enrolled in Micro Reporting, and clients with multiple users are enrolled in Standard Reporting. Contact your account officer if you would like to change reporting options or to upgrade to Premium Reporting.

Standard Reporting offers detailed activity information and the ability to view summarized account data for multiple accounts by a date or date range.

Premium Reporting.. Ideal for clients who want BAI Reporting or customized and scheduled reports. In addition to above, It offers the following features:

  • Account Activity – detailed activity information. Users can choose to group subtotals by transaction type. Also, users can select multiple check images for viewing.
  • Account Summary- allows to view summarized account data for multiple accounts by a date or date range.
  • Combined Report- Provides both summary and detailed transaction information. Includes advanced report filtering options. Available check images can be viewed by clicking the camera icon when available.
  • Cash Position Report – Provides the total cash position for multiple accounts by date. Users can include scheduled transactions or manually entered transactions to better understand their projected cash position for a future date.
  • BAI2 and Custom (fixed or delimited) report download options.

Applies to Current Online Banking & Cash Management Customers:

Beginning Monday, August 12, 2019 mobile banking will be available to Business eBanking users.

Download the Business Mobile App from the App Store or get it on Google Play. For Business Mobile Deposit, contact your account officer to complete the agreement.
