Cash Flow & Leveraged Loans

Congressional Bank and its Alliance Partners subsidiary work with sponsors, agents and borrowers throughout North America to provide secured loans primarily to middle market companies. We provide loans to support:

  • Acquisitions
  • Growth
  • Working capital
  • Recapitalizations
  • Leveraged buyouts

We have a dual focus where we frequently participate in financings to businesses agented by other banks and finance companies with debt facilities generally ranging in size from $25 million to $250 million. These companies typically have EBITDA of $10 million to $100 million.

Additionally, Congressional Bank and its Alliance Partners subsidiary will directly originate loans to corporate borrowers, typically with EBITDA of $3 million to $15 million. We provide creative custom solutions to our clients in a timely manner. All financings are first lien senior secured and senior stretch cash flow or enterprise value loans or secured with a first lien on specific assets.

Congressional Bank has led or participated in over 100 debt facilities since its inception in 2011. The Bank is relatively industry agnostic, but typically targets companies with the following characteristics:

  • Industry leader within its niche, with a sustainable competitive advantage
  • High barriers to entry with entrenched customer bases
  • Strong management teams
  • High free cash flow generation with stable historical performance
  • Recurring revenue business models are helpful
